Winter Left

Winter Left

A Poem by Donald Meikle

Winter's gone

I can tell

Those  birds are at it again

At almost daylight

so close to the open skylight

They could be on the bedpost

Winter's gone

Again

I like the way this one is written. It has a nice little flow to it.
