Stage LeftA Poem by Donald Meikle
Balance it all like spinning plates
Dinosaur crystal shards on the floor Spin heated gravity holding our fates Many yet cheering for more Buffalo bone yards parking lots tell Given the chance in this mad greedy dance We'll bid on some house lot in Hell Coyote's laughing in towns turning city As rabbits and cats disappear Nature replying is not very pretty As Green turns to gray every year A druid is duelling with fear For the ending of greed to be near Barefoot and bloody not shedding a tear Dancing barefoot in manic delight In crimson crystal closing night © 2009 Donald MeikleReviews
