Seen God Lately?

Just to set things straight before I rant on.
I believe in God
Religion in almost any form disgusts me
They were given this earth and life in all its glory
What did they do in appreciation ?
They promptly invented a better place!
Heaven. Paradise. Angels, Virgins (why?)
And of course Satan with his burning Hell
It's like being given water to drink and defecating in it
Oh I forgot, we did that.
Then of course they branched out into sects
Protestant, Catholic, Sunni, etal
Convincing Irish men to war with each other
over how to please God
As to Earth (The Gift from God)
They war over who gets to destroy it
They die to actually own it
Complete with headstone.
Usually in the best area for living.
How do you religious ingrates live with this sin?
In blind senseless destruction of all it can be.

This is so, you are so right. For everything is politics, just everything. Those believers are used if not (ab-used) by their leaders, I see it that way, so they wouldn't see what's going on. Behind all this is ego-power, this matters. Media love such situation, also governments of rich countries that sell arms. So if they keep people busy with watching stupid TV-programms which make people less and less critical and more and more conformed, then they wouldn't bother to see how few people manipulate this world. We have seen this clearly after economics collapsed, 10 years ago they were telling the world how important is globalization, then they were selling good middle-class people their useless derivates and today they tell us which country is dangerous (Pakistan) and how Israel is ready to start war against Iran. All this together makes an explosive mixture, I think we are not far away from a global real real misery with blood on streets in Western countries for this is not the end, we are still falling? I think so. I also think, the world leaders wouldn't tell folks how serious the situation is. They are afraid to make it worse. All this religion thing! Why can't people just believe for themselves and have a personal relationship with God without being member of something - what is called church or religion and what makes it explosive mixture? Oh I really mind! I do. The religious organisations could do much more for the others, what they do is not enough, and all the superb rich believers could share. Why don't they? Where is morality? Oh, all is just manipulation. but without me. So where is all that money..? We face a massive inflation. Perhaps soon we face a massive inflation and not only dollar but everywhere. And the rich will be slauthered, so the universe cares always, the equilibrium will be restored.

This was incredibly powerful for me. The slow-paced, considered, philosophical opening was great. I always discuss God with my mum and you're right, it isn't the one true God who should ever be hated but men's interpretation of him, if you can call it that. Then those lines:
