just Hello

just Hello

A Poem by Donald Meikle
"

Wending

"
Sometimes like now when there's only short break in busy
That's when lips brush behind a distant ear
and comfort slips into an empty palm
flickering in peripheral play
and nudging encouragement to drift
But only for a moment to ease another's busy

ahhh, i do recognize these hummingbird moments ~ they often dance just beyond the edge of certainty; turning my head to catch them ..... there is nothing there ...... but a lingering warmth on the back of my neck. comforting actually. soothing all things ....... busy.

beyond, luv. thank you.

This was so nostaliagic. You really capture those lonely moments in the business of our lives.
"What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare."
