What goes aroundA Poem by Donald Meikle
Bring me back to I don't care
Back to I'll just comb my hair Straighten up my ruffled shirt And never never show I hurt Freedom isn't free. I paid And still I owe and earn This welfare state is not for me When will the people learn? It's november fourth today And I took the time to vote It's just a goodbye way to say To all I learned by rote Freedom isn't free for me Though more will disagree I put my time in guarding thee Goodbye that's all she wrote © 2008 Donald MeikleReviews
