Unlimited Greed

Unlimited Greed

A Poem by Donald Meikle
"

What's a politician?

"
How can I succeed in life?
What measures my success?
To win the human race of strife
Then squander sweet excess
To find a way to cause them all
To follow me and spend it all
In wallowed mudscum pits of greed
To hasten falling grabs of seed
What is a politician's need?
Dictators hoard the answers
And sheep just follow dancers
Infectious as cancers
It's close to what romance is
a deaf bat

I think this line just says it all "In wallowed mudscum pits of greed." This was really a great poetic vent.
