Repetitivity

Repetitivity

A Poem by Donald Meikle

Take your mind out into space
Let it view the universe
Take in its totality
Realize how much of it is absolutely empty space
Or is it?
Over 99.9% of each atom is empty space
Nothing exists in it.
Having now established that nothing exists
And in extreme abundance
Let us then further speculate
Sound waves and other frequencies
travel through space easily
Could it be that nothing is made up of the tiniest of particles
too small to ever be observed?
And that the differences in frequencies
traveling through it leave wakes
Or echoes of their passing
To such a degree that one
or several repetitions
Gains speed after time passes
To such a degree that
Time becomes immeasurable.
Are you with me so far?
Or are you as spaced out as I?
(repetition)
What did you learn today son?
"Nothing mum"

yer mind is an amazing playground ........ 'nothing' will ever have the same meaning again. My tiny particules accelerate across vast ripples in time to tickle you! ;-)
