Simplicity

Simplicity

A Poem by Donald Meikle

Famousisity slips into hidden corners

Teasetauntingly closer so far away

Sometimes almost reachable

But then who needs it

Privacisity is so free to find and hide in

Where Thoughts have no limit

And pens need no ink

I'm sorry but I find these words grate a lot particularly when they seem to be replacing simpler words. E.g. famousisity for fame and privacisity for privacy. Why bother? The other compound word seems to convey something worthwhile. Your other reviewers seem quite ok with this so maybe I'm just missing something.
Well done though.alan

all done without complicity, I'll take the blame for most of it
its simply perfect :) you have portrayed every word perfectly.

You've created words that have a life, a jaunt of their own. They are the Madonnas that gleam in the spotlight, from which the poem springs forth.

Words honestly fail me on this one. It's just so beautiful and perfect. It needs no applause because it is. Well done.
