Up Again

Up Again

A Poem by Donald Meikle

Never on time and ever so late

What did I do to deserve this fate

Why do dreams obstruct my way

On every foggy dreary day

Was it the why that intrigued me so

Causing my mind to never let go

When will it end since it started to run

Was it a race or has it begun

Encircling my soul weighing a ton

and always uphill

With the sun on my track

Wherever I turn

I can never go back

It's like owning a boat

When you know it won't float

Hello Wall

Yes it's me again

Thanks for silently listening in
