Crushed leaves,broken twigs.

Crushed leaves,broken twigs.

A Poem by Donald Meikle

words………….spoor…………hints of what was………

 tracks in wet snow………..

deliberate blazed trails………….to follow……….

to experience anew…..

and yet……..

history,,,,,,,,

,another's views  remarked on…….

.a way to see life without peril……..an escape from reality

………a restful pause from what has been called a rat race……

.lies?……….half truths?……facts?……….words……

..just words,,,,,

,or.

I think in proverbs (I had to look it up) there is a verse , so I always say be careful what one wishes or curses for another as it is likely to come true

…20 With the fruit of a man's mouth his stomach will be satisfied; He will be satisfied with the product of his lips. 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

are they just words once spoken a loud or are they conduits? Harbingers for good or for ill.

I've seen some wild things happen in the last three years since setting in here, some things incredible, some things spooky as shi*t, some wild happenstance up in here, do we draw to us what we write of? so many questions, no real answers, nothing that can be proven anyway I guess. great write, makes me think... well done my friend!
