Stroking Time

Stroking Time

A Story by Donald Meikle

Here

With afternoon sunlight blinding my glasses

She's busy in Eden

I'm ready for wine

Tossing words out into space

Tiring one finger

Using no ink

One tap and it'll be gone

There's justice in there somewhere

here

On another perfect day

Wasting words

and Time

This can be a layered poem or a simple one. Either way, I enjoyed :) Nicely inked.

eyes at the laundromat, we don't want to sit and waste, i live out the same of you, trying to be content with the indoors while wanting to be out there in Eden, or at least in the sunshine on a shaded hill somewhere. This is beautiful Donald.
