Druthers

Druthers

A Poem by Donald Meikle

whether weather withers your wanton wailings

For fallow fearful followers' forgotten feelings

shuddering shrieking shivers shall shun shoving

Escaping eerie evil embodiments  ever

causing cacophony carnage continually cast

upon you and yours or not

Still shall I refrain from cursing you

For fear of reprisal

Love this! I would rather writers willingly whitewash whodunit whenever wretched wrongdoers wound .....warily waltz whistfully while wryly writing wrongs.

wunnerful wevue
Fear of reprisal makes cowards of us all. This is a really good curse though and it would be a shame not to send it to someone deserving.
