Sky Sailors

Sky Sailors

A Poem by Donald Meikle
"

Tried Ken's method

"

        Eagles soaring

oh so high

   Wing wide feathers

                                            grip the sky

         Talons folded

                                                                screaming  by

                    curling

                                             swirling

                                                                       swooping

                                                                                            loops

                                                                                                                          both afire

                                    and so alive

As I stand in rooted awe

Of majesty and more.
