Fish Tales

Fish Tales

A Poem by Donald Meikle
"

went fishin'

"

Trollin' rips for savage blues

It hardly matters what to use

The birds all fear to deeply dive

They hover peck to stay alive

Chasing fleeing baitfish

Survival scales tip

Sketches of survival

In boiling tidal rip.
