my lost masterpeice

my lost masterpeice

A Poem by amelia.elaine
"

to an ex, whom i really want to be with. she's my mona lisa and i'm her da vinci

"

i've got this song in my head
and the lyrics have one thing in common
every lyric shouts your name
it reminds me of the cold hearted feeling you used to
make my spine shiver, with your cold hearted eyes

no lies were ever told, no kisses were ever shared
not like the way we wished they were
a little regret bubbles to the surface because i want you in my arms
just one morning, when i see you next
i want to lay next to you in your bed
and forget our past, forget our other halfs, the ones we can't forget

and hold you, kiss you, like you wish i would of
i've got the confidence baby
to make the moves you're to shy to make

if only you'd still let me paint your portrait
mona lisa, mona lisa
my lost masterpiece
