bangles and boston

A Poem by amelia.elaine
"

i've been missing kyle A LOT lately. due to the fact that he's 3,104 miles [exact mileage] away, i wear his sweatpants everynight, his computers broken so he can't get online, and i haven't heard from him since last sunday

"

he's on my mind more then he should be allowed
if only it was so easy to forget that boston smile

the bangles clank together, in chimes of a bell
sending me into a daydream daze, that i snap out of
far too soon

its much to hard to remember you, and you're arm around me
what i would give for that warmth and comfort

the heat from your body, caused me to catch on fire
our body heat couldn't resist the chance
to make being under the blanket damn near impossible

you put one arm under me, the other on top of me
and pulled me as close as our bodies would allow
you pushed the pillows out of the way
just so you could feel my touch, and see my smile

i didn't catch a wink of sleep
and to be honest, i didn't want to

your kisses were smooth, gentle, anixous
i could tell in the pressure of your lips you'd been waiting
for the feel of my lips on yours one more time

i'd fly acrossed the world to kiss those lips again
to just see you smile one more time

one moment, that passed far too quick
is one moment, i find it impossible to forget

You really get a feel for the passionate, the emotion in this. Extremely vivid and heart felt.
