commercail planes and country lifeA Poem by amelia.elainethe boy i met this summer, lives in boston, and he went home today, and it finally hit when i called him to see how his flight went.her breathing grows faint, as she finally realizes today was the day he left, for where he calls him her heart resides on her sleeve, throbing just a little one side a little swallon, where it took a beating
his voice clams her new bruise, until she connects what will happen he's a thousand miles away, and 2 hours ahead he has a life in the city, she has a forced life in a little country town he'll have friends, school, and a life to tend to she'll have finding college, pleasing parents, and friends, and making a new life to work on
one call every so often, will satisfie [sp] her thirst for his voice his tender words, that make her heart go to medium rare the throbing intenifies as his lips linger on hers todays the day she realizes, he left it all behind, when he went home and one day they'll meet again, and things won't be the same, like she hopes they will © 2008 amelia.elaineAuthor's Note
