my baby jupiter

my baby jupiter

A Poem by candy leopard
"

my dead friend. 10-line poem..

"

tiny drops of jupiter

embedded in sequences of pearl

and soft pink A-symmetrical twisting

brimming with motion, wriggling between walls

blanketed in glassy, winding scales like mirrors

a coiling, limbless skeleton drifts among words said

she unfurls in the half shell as Venus, beginning

but returns as baby Jupiter, who leaks from every pore

she remains, emanating from the fingertips

tiny drops of jupiter, as it rains
