Old World

Old World

A Poem by lily platycorn
"

This is a poem I wrote a couple of months ago... My favorite line is 'As she was so many dragon ages ago'. Please tell what your favorite line is.

"
The sweet smell
Of creamy white blossoms
And the fiery skies
Are shining
With the glory
Of newborn Earth
As she was
So many dragon ages ago
When love was new
And golden doves
Whispered peace
In man’s ear
But now,
It is over,
And the shadows
Are deep and uncertain,
The sky
Is a black torch
Of dark dark anger
And the old ways
Are gone forever
