The Seizing Mind

The Seizing Mind

A Poem by lilyrose
"

"Seizures drain so much from your body and mind. I retaliate by preserving my life into rhymes"

"
My brain has shut down again
I shake and shake
When will it end
My lungs scream a groan
As my mouth fills with foam
They stare as if I'm possessed
when will it happen again
my anxiety has become obsessed

My memories are gone forever missed
If I can't remember did I still exist
They beg me to wake up and stand
Remind me again of who I am
Is this real or an illusion
My head is dizzy from confusion
Darkness takes my mind away
Into the shadows always it's slave
