chapter 10

Lily kissed victor goodbye he would be back in 4 days she told herself. She turned around she walked right into Nate's arms. He held her tight. Lily yearned for the warm embrace of someone she loved. She snuggled deeper into Nate's arms. She looked into his eyes and kissed him.

Nate and lily grew closer and closer every week. Victor was gone every Wednesday till late Saturday. Lily soon found her self with Nate. Victor got sicker and sicker from the Chemotherapy and the radiation therapy.

Lily thought back to the night that she and Nate had gone to far. She was now in the bathroom. She looked down at the little white prego test. She sat there waiting for the results she cried as the little pink plus came into view. She tossed the test into the trash absolutely sobbing. She walked out right into victor. He smiled at her sweetly. She knew that she had to tell him but how.

"Lily whats wrong."

"I'm I'm I'm."

"Whats wrong you can tell me."

"I'm prego" she said the words so quietly he could barely hear her.

"Who's is it" he asked calmly.

"Its its its" lily tripped over her words

"Lily tell me" he screamed at her.

"Nate's" she said so quietly he didn't hear but he didn't have to he already knew. "I love you. You know that. I would never try to hurt you. You are just gone all the time. He was the only thing left that made me feel real, alive." She explained so fast she didn't even understand it. She fell to her knees and sobbed. "Don't leave me please i need you your my rock Nate's the balloon with out you i wouldn't be here right now with you. I would be the one to love you or him. You would put flowers on my grave on my birthday other than giving them to me when ever I'm sad."

"I have waited for you for too long to let you go. I love you too much for that. I will stay with you. I will fight this dam cancer and raise our child. It is not his child in your heart you wish it was mine so i will claim it as my own. I love you too much to let you fall for him."


A similar conversation happened with Nate with out the love she told him she was prego and that it was his. "so what are we going to do."

"Victor is claiming the baby as his your going to be the god father. If anything happens to him then you will fill in as the dad. I don't love you anymore not in the same way at least. Your like my best friend. I cant love you like you want me to. At least not anymore. I'm one month along already."

They all lived in Harmony for the next 8 months.
