• Ow again my head is hurting. Victor thought. He heard lily's mom beside him asking him rapid questions. "I'm fine. I think." Where's lily? Lily's mom asked. "I don't know. I got to go OK i pretty sure lily just panicked and left she should be here later."

"I don't think so the fire escapes down. I think she ran away." Lily's mom chocked back tears as she talked.

"Or she got taken" Lily's mom gave a weak nod.

"Oh your awake"

"yeah." Lily glanced around the black and green walls uncertain of where she was. Then it hit her she was in Nate's room. She was next door to her house. "What day is it." Friday Nate answered simply. "What time is it." 6:47. "Oh no my moms probably just freaking out."

"No i called for you and said that you would be home tomorrow" Nate hoped his excuse would work.

"Calm down lady" The police officer said to lily's distraught mother. "Where was your daughter last seen." The fat cop said. He knew that runaways weren't found often mainly because they don't want to be.

"In her room. I was there she was there and Nate Nita was there. Me and Nate got in a fight. He knocked me out. When i came to the window was open thee fire escape down and they were gone."

"Sounds like she ran away." The tall skinny cop said. The fat one just nodded his head in agreement.

"No i don't think so. Nate and her had a bad break up a few mouths back. She tried to kill herself. I stopped her. She hates him. Usually. Sometimes she starts to fall in love with him them she snaps back into hating him. She kinda freaking out. I don't think she would have left with him willingly. I do believe he took her while she was to shocked to move on account of the fact me and Nate got in  a fight. I won't lie to you I... I mean she is pretty confused right now." Victor said he had to bite back telling them that he loved her. If she didn't know the didn't have to.

"I see lights over by my house. I think they are cop car lights.  Maybe we should go look." Lily said uncertain.

"But then Victor would take you from me. He is your boyfriend right." Victor said cockily. He knew that wasn't true. He was pretty sure she was single. Available. Vulnerable.

"Actually in single. I guess not any more." Lily said as she intertwined her fingers with Nate's. She reached up slowly and kissed him lightly on the lips.

"Be right back someones knocking on the door."Nate walked down stairs. As he walked he rumpled his hair and looked as if he just woke up. "Hello *yawn* what do you want."

"were wondering if you seen Lily she your neighbor she went missing this afternoon. They seem to think you know where she is."

"no idea. In fact i just woke up. If you find her tell me. I didn't mean to break her heart before. I still love her i want to fix things with her." Nate said smoothly to the cops. Nate walked up the stairs slowly. "it was some door to door sails man. Trying to see me a vacuum cleaner. I told him i wasn't interested. You look tired maybe we should go back to sleep." Nate said smoothly the lie rolling out of his mouth seamlessly.
