Spread of a ToxinA Poem by BraveMoon
A fresh new piece of paper, undyed and reflective of any light
Was I When life placed unto me an uncapped, feverish pen You. That ink, as dark as coal, began to spread Still, I was. Damaging persistence, you were. Your toxins filled every fiber of my being But I should have been well aware. You with I. While cemented to one another Your darkness laminated me. And the light which once was, Engulfed. That light could no longer be shone.
