Tale of Three

Tale of Three

A Poem by BraveMoon

"Babe, can you be 21 already?"
But she didn't understand so she smiled.
Remembering that her day was made a promise to him
Representative of all she had to give.
It was now a supposed joyous day that she could wait for a millennia to arrive
Into a spiral of angst and prophesy of loyalty, she became.
Because all of a sudden
Becoming 21 was no longer about her.
It was about that of another woman
Idolized in a haze of seduction accompanied by uncertainty.
The woman he so desperately craved
Though she has no name
And
No name is of silhouette and soul, one of his greatest desires.
Her desire for an illusive two's unity was greater
So two became three.

I really like it, it adds a sense of satisfaction, and mystery all in one. I am not sure what inspired this, but well done
