Fight for life to die all the same

We all fight so hard to reach the same goal in the end
All of this struggle just to die and leave it all behind
Why do we all torture ourselves this way
For when we die we all go to the same place

But in the end we all die

We all love that special someone so much
Why is it that the world is so cruel
To make it that the vow is until death do we part
Can’t something so perfect last forever

But in the end we leave everything behind

It’s in a human’s nature to love, destroy and fight for life
Why is it our instinct to live when death could be the ultimate eutopia
How is it that the common bonds amongst ourselves are so strong
To be so selfish as to hold someone back from the after life when they’re on their death bed

We leave everything behind but don’t let others go
Fight so hard to keep yourself and others from the same eventual destination

Can the after life be such a bad place to be
I guess it depends on your point of view and lifestyle
