girl from your nightmares

remember these eyes/you'll see them again
staring into yours as you dream
remember this voice/you'll hear it again
serenading you to sleep.
just another mistake i was bound to make
dissolved and forgotten/an easy fix.

march along the wrong way
stitch your lips shut
i've locked my secret away/chugged down the key
drag your feet as you walk away
bind your hands tight
i've walked away already/chugged down the key.

fall asleep tonight thinking of me
hug your dear ol' pillow/as if it could compare to me
sweat yourself wet as you toss and turn
and realize that i'm gone/i've up and left
just another mistake i was bound to make
dissolved and forgotten/an easy fix.

for better or worse
till death do us part/of me died when you left
in sickness and in health
till death do us part/of me was born when you left.
