angerA Poem by Arwen Evenstarit begins at my feet, slowly rising through my body. then all of a sudden it courses through, like a bullet. it licks at my heart, red hot. from my heart it leaves through my mouth. the words twisted, not what I wanted. I can feel my fists ball up. and all I see is red. yet you never stop. it takes everything inside, I fight with every emotion, not to take a swing. I eventually put my fists down. © 2014 Arwen EvenstarAuthor's Note
