A horrific Awakening

What if you woke up and your family is dead?!?!

From the bed to my bathroom, my day begins. I woke up around four. I dont know why but today seemed spectacular for some reason. I felt energized, ecstatic, and morally great. I got my clothes, went to take a shower and everything changed. As I opened the bathroom, I smelt a foul stench. It was sort of metallic in a way. I knew it wasn’t normal so I peered around the crack in the opening. And my my body froze, I couldn’t move a centimeter more. There lying in a pool of red liquid was my parents and siblings rip to shreds. My eyes wanted to cry and my mouth wanted to scream, but I knew who ever did this was still around somewhere. I have only a few options at this point: enter or get out of the house. I decide that if anything it would be wise to leave. I start to creep backwards when my body freezes again.

I hear a voice whisper “Come out, come out, wherever, you are,” taking a breath after each pause seeming to get closer. I wanted to move but i couldn’t tell which way to go. One false move and I might find this mysterious killer and be next on my way to hell. I calm down and close my eyes. I breath in and out slowly trying to find a hint of direction. Luckily for the old stairs, I hear a creek. It was the killer coming back up to search again. I dash for my room knowing i have a small escape plan already figured out: jump out the window. And i get there i notice it was at my door. As fast as i could I open the window and begin to leap. He grabs me by the shirt and stops my escape dead in my tracks. Thats what He thought at least. I was far enough out that my shirt ripped and I fell to the ground. I noticed it wasn’t much of a landing since I shattered my arm. As I got up I looked back at the window to see the killers face. I couldn’t make out much but one thing for sure it wasn’t human and it wasn’t alive. A ghostly figure of some sort was staring me in the face while I saw more of a shadow. In a blink of an eye it was gone and sirens were heard in from behind.
