Eraser

Eraser

A Poem by De'Anna
"

one of my many many many lyrics.

"

My eraser is worn down,
From how much I've used it.
I've written, erased, rewritten.
And still I can't say how I want it to sound.
Can't figure out how to say it.

I love you,
How can I erase what's in ink?
I've always used a pencil.
A sketchy little girl, drawing away.
I love you.

My pencil keeps writing.
And my pen rewrites it.
No time to slow down,
I've already poured my heart into your hands.
Keep it safe in your pen barrel.

I love you,
How can I erase what's in ink?
I've always used a pencil.
A sketchy little girl, drawing away.
I love you.

My eraser is worn (I love you)
From how much I've used it (How can I erase what's in ink?)
I've written, erased, rewritten (I've always used pencil)
And still I can't say I love you
