Finding life within my soul
I am the only one to know

The blood running down my wrist
The only reason I used to exist
They saw my tears and did not care
Through tease and torment my knife was there

Screaming pain within my soul
But I am the only one to know

Everyone laughed and everyone teased
Because nobody could be pleased
And then he came and everything changed
We were both outcast, we were both strange

The screaming grew quiet in my soul
But only I was supposed to know

He gave me hope to live another day
He helped me from my dreadful decay
I fell in love but never told
I didn't know that his love began to mold

A brightness grew within my soul
And I was the only one to know

My hope grew larger every day
And courage blossomed for me to say
How I feel about him now
I got him alone and told him my vow

There was a pause within my soul
For he was the only one to know

At that moment our hearts were bound
And he kissed me before we were found
My hope fully stored with his new light
And stayed with me throughout the night

And hope restored inside my soul
And now everyone will know
