Broken

Broken

A Poem by lilly wildfire
"

yar, this ones old too. and im not sure whether i like it or not...what do you think?

"
Free-falling again,
and this time
I dread the landing.
No chances, no choices,
nothing anyone can do.
For once your world has imploded,
nothing can help.
Not even yourself,
because you've taken it the worst.
You never realize the truth,
even when its your own truth,
until everything is gone.
But it wasn't your world
I hear something say.
Right--
I agree,
--Just the broken pieces
Ive fallen before,
but always someone
has been there to catch me.
This time, alone,
no one knows how much it hurts
and how much of it is mine.
Not as bad, not as bad
Whispers that intelligent voice.
True, true--
I respond
--But enough to break you.

I enjoyed this peice. It showed an image of who one thinks about, falling down emotionally that i hadn't read about yet. I like the end of it where we hear the intelligent whisper, agreeing with what you speak about.
I liked how it seemed to question how much pain belonged to who. That was a cool idea.
I liked this alot
Keep up the good work!
