life in its chaos

There is a darkness in my soul
that no one will ever know...
I keep it close so no one unfolds..
I can not keep it open, to souls that do not know...

Why must I keep it closed, to the love I know...
Why must It be stepped on by those, whom I hold close...

Am I truly forgettable by those who I hold close my soul...
My soul burns in the darkness, cause it is afraid of the light...
To hide all the hurts in me, to hide from the night...

Walls so high
Walls so thick
made stone by stone, from mason n brick...
I try to chip away the rocks, n chip at my soul
All in attempts to let go...
I chip away at the bricks, to set my soul free...
All in attempts to let love in...

Who cares? Who knows? The troubles I see, with in me...
Who troubles to find that awesome peace of mind...
To all that troubles n darkness inside...
Built up over time, and just trying to hide...
The hurt and the pain, behind my hazel eyes..

All that darkness in ones mind...

Then it all clicks, and it all creaks inside ones mind...
This chick is just hiding all her feelings inside and walking in this time, with all those fears in her mind...

Why let them in, why cry even one more time...
Why let anyone see the tears behind these broken eyes...

So stay out one, stay out all, for the pain is to rough, n the soul is so bare...
Torn is the state of my heart and soul, Torn is the state we all see if your inside of me...

For one to love is easy, and so flowing and free...
But for one to receive, what will never be, is hard on the state of mind...
Because... it was the wrong place and all in the mind, and the wrong time...
