Red, Blue, Black.

Just a few descriptions of colors.

Red is the color of the dress she wore before she started spinning. Red is the shine that twinkled off the rubies around her neck. Red is the color of your heart racing, pounding in your chest. Red is the color of the memories that danced in your head as you tried to fall asleep that night. Red is the feeling you got in your chest when her named trickled out of your lips. Red is the way you want to remember her. 

Blue is the sparkle in her eye as you turned around. Blue is the color of the sky when you walked away. Blue is the fear you harbored when you whispered "I love you." Blue is the feeling that weighed down your shoulders. Blue is the smell of her perfume, still on your clothes. Blue is the only word to describe her tears. Blue is the way you thought you would remember her.

Black is the color she left your heart. Black is the charcoal that remained after the flame was gone. Black is the empty feeling in the pit of your stomach. Black is way you mourned red and blue. Black is the way you remember her.
