oddity

it's quite an oddity to loathe the mirror

and nitpick every thing.

from old t-shirts to nursery rhymes,

it's never ending.

but one day, i might look

and see a different figure.

a friend, not a foe,

when i look into that mirror

a dream is only what you make it

so i'll make it short and sweet.

why is hating yourself so easy

but loving is such a feat?
