white turned gray

wicked snakes
invade a place
i used to go
to escape

white turned gray
a dirty shade
but still there is
another day

why should i remain
in a place so vain
a hypocrites heaven
now just to entertain

can't wait to see
a rarity
a genuine sight
but i foresee

the steeple broke
and formed a cross
the irony is
no one watched
