The Squirrel's Nut

The Squirrel's Nut

A Poem by SpiceCookie
"

"A squirrel found a nut in the middle of fall..."

"
A squirrel found a nut in the middle of fall.
She told the mother goose.
The mother goose gasped and let out a call,
and the news was heard by a moose.

The moose jumped up in surprise and glee,
and then he let the wind know.
The wind flew on, unruffled and free.
But he passed it on to his foe.

The foe was the sun, because of her warmth
which erased what the wind performed.
The sun's bright rays shone over the north,
and a polar bear was informed.

The polar bear went onto the ice
so she could tell a bird.
The bird flew south to chatter to mice.
Soon, they all had heard.

The mice carried the news to me,
and for that I am grateful.
Because however could I have heard
from a squirrel ever so faithful?

I made this to practice my rhyming. This has to be the one of the most pointless things I ever wrote, but it was fun. I hope you enjoyed!
