Twilight

Twilight

A Poem by SpiceCookie
"

The time when day turns into night.

"
A golden light is sinking.
It is the sun,
a sphere of fire, a blinding fireball.

The clouds are pink, purple, golden, silver, orange,
and then dark as they fade into the sky.

The heavens above are navy blue,
dotted with the smallest twinkles
of the far away stars.

The light of the day is gone.
But it promises to light our path again the next day.

Until then,
we have
the moon, the stars,
and the rest of the universe to watch over us.

You know this is actually really good. I kind of thought of the Epitaph of Twilight before I read it. Not going to lie this poem would actually fit into my game Twilight Tower. All in all though great poem.

No problem. :)
Nice description of the day turning into the night. I liked the flow of thoughts leading to good ending. Thank you Felicity for sharing the excellent poetry.
