Foxes are Annoying

There you have it, Kitsune. A failed attempt at comedy.

Amara scowled, scoffing as she jumped out the window. "Hey! Who's there?!" She called out, flipping her black hair out of her violet eyes, scanning the area for movement of any kind. Was I imagining things? Rath's issues are contagious. She thought absently, scratching the back of her head.

Finally she caught sight of something. Fleeting, golden hair, nothing much but a blur. She swung her sword in front of her, gritting her teeth irritably, "C'mon already and show yourself!" She snapped, "Like I have time to be looking around to some half assed demon! That's Rath's job!"

When no reply came, she threw a rock in the direction of rustling. "Ow! What was that for!?" A girl, possibly Amara's age, stomped away from the trees, rubbing her head. The blonde strands of hair hid her hazel eyes, which did not show a very pleased person. "What the hell is your problem you idiot?" She demanded, crossing her arms.

"You're the idiot; you're totally unaware that you're on the Dragon Castle's grounds, twat." Amara stamped her foot on the ground, leaning on her sword, "Who are you? Little queer."

The spunky blonde put her hands on her hips, making a "Hmph!" sound. "Kitsune. What's it to you anyway?"

Amara raised an eyebrow, shrugging her shoulders. A slight, long silence, seemed to consume the air.

"That's a stupid name."

Author's Note

Yep, I got me an Eminem playlist. I apologize for the first song's labeling, I don't know why someone called it that.

Kitsune = Fox in Japanese. Hence the chapter title. This chapter is for a friend of mine, she LOVES foxes. If I could, I'd give her a fox stuffed animal. BTW Kitsune they have those at the Castleton Mall at Inside Scoop.
