Dragon Knights: Bloodshed 5

Sorry for taking about a millennium. MAJOR writer's block. And my pal didn't help much when she TOTALLY RUINED THE IMAGE OF THE PLOT TO ME. Ya hear that pal?! IMMA GO BADGER ON YER A*S!

It wasn't as if she could do anything, she would just have to sit there for a bit until Rath left. He better not blame this on me. She thought rashly, pouting at herself. The air felt tense, and Amara didn't like it. "I'm gonna go back to the Castle. You guys do whatever the hell you want. It's not of my interest." With that, she walked away, leaving the infamous trio to kill each other.

` "Amara, have you seen Rath?" Amara, walking aimlessly in the corridor, turned Alfeegi. Amara remembered the mental note she made about Alfeegi. A downright, uptight officer, who likes to yell. A lot. He was the White Dragon Officer, and he wasn't the type to talk small talk to. "Do you have any idea where he is?"

Amara tilted her head. On one hand, she could rat out Rath and see Alfeegi go ballistic on him. But, on the other hand, she could wait for Rath to return eventually, see Alfeegi go ballistic still, and yet not have Alfeegi later on mention that Amara had ratted Rath out. In other words: Less risk to let Rath mosey on back on his own to his doom, and her identity stay anonymous. "Nope. Haven't seen him." She replied, flipping her hair in the opposite direction. "If I do, I'll tell him you're ready to bust his balls though." 

Not waiting for an answer, Amara leaned to rest near the window, reading. "A demon who thinks he's a bad-a*s, a psychotic knight for a mentor, and I STILL just read." She shook her head, hearing the gates open and close, followed by a few hollers and arguments. "They're baaack." Amara chimed, smirking a bit. "One, two, three, death bell."

"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN? RATH! GODDAMMIT! NO SIGHT OF YOU FOR HOURS!" Right on cue. The daily scold begins. By now, Amara was used to it, and it wasn't as hazardous than Rune's lash outs. 

Since it was a castle. Amara expected that the atmosphere would be calm, regal, and quiet. But no, instead, you have a demon-killing obsessed demon, a temperamental Elf, and a gluttonous human. That trio was supposed to protect the country, and, they were against a huge-a*s army of demons trying to revive one god-forsaken demon, probably holding a grudge no one could comprehend. "If there was ever a time for some random villager to want to contemplate suicide, now's the time before some random sneak attack." Sighing, Amara stared at the window, seeing a distortion in the barrier.
