Satin and Leather

               Leila's eyes flittered open once the Sun's light split through the window. Rubbing them, her hair glistened gold, empowering her blue eyes.  It must be late... usually I'm up earlier than this. Climbing out of her bed, she walked to the vanity. She styled her hair in a loose bun, strands of hair falling to her shoulders. A note lay on her stand.

 

Lady Leila, with all due respect you are required to wear this dress Lady Kize` designed herself.

Studying the dress, Leila put it on immediately.

Alva heard a knock on the door, "Coming!" She said briskly. Opening the door, a maid, hold a folded blue article, handed it to her.

 

           "The Queen says you must wear this, Miss." The woman left.

 

             Alva styled her hair with a simple pink ribbon, sliding the dress on, she looked at herself in it.

 

 

Not too bad, I guess... She twirled around in it, then heard clapping.

 

                               "That loks really good on you, sister!" Leila smiled nicely.

 

                                  Alva's face flushed deep red, "Leila! Out! O-U-T out! Shoo!" She pushed her sister out. Alva sighed. Her sister was annoying. She couldn't take it. So, in eight minutes, I become sixteen.
