Dragon Knights: Bloodshed 2

Chapter two

                                   "Who exactly are you?" Amara demanded, turning face to face with the newcomer, he had silver hair, dark red eyes, and a tattered necklace around his neck. "Well?"

 

                        "Name's Vein, yours?" He had a cocky smirk on his face, and Amara hated it,

 

"Well, usually it is ladie's first but I introduced myself first, so your turn," 

 

"If it's ladie's first then it was natural you go first!" Amara retorted, Vein smirked, giving a slight laugh, throwing his head back, leaning on a tree, he swung his hand at a tree right in front of him, first, there was a cracking sound, then Amara saw the it edging to the ground, with a loud "BASH"!, it fell to the ground, a clean cut.

 

                         "I'm actually not in the mood for any mouth," he tilted his head, catching a glimspe of Fire, "Well, who's your little lizard friend?" Amara etched back, her hand tightening around her sword again, now it stung, "Raundinini, fetch," a large, no, immense wolf - like demon, similar to Crewger's stature, appeared behind Amara, Raundinini lunged at Amara, only to catch the ribbon in her hair, Raundinini whirled for another go, "Come! That's enough!" Vein called, obediantly, the demon wolf returned to Vein's side, "See ya," with a wave, Vein left.

 

                  "Get back here you - " Amara shut her mouth the instant another newcomer appeared, an Elf, she assumed. He had long blonde hair, making him resemble a girl the slightest inch, blue eyes, and a small dragon, -about as big as Fire, who looked no bigger than a overfed lizard - on his shoulder. Patting down her hair, she sighed with annoyance, "And you are?" Her voice held an edge in it.

 

                   "Er, Rune."

 

                    "Hi, nice to meet you, bye." the Elf was obviously surprised by her words, but Amara was too tense to care a bit, "That stupid Yokai is gonna pay," She mumbled to herself.

 

                    "DEMON?! WHERE?!" Amara jumped,

 

                   "Where'd you come from Rath?" You turned to Rune, who seemed to know Rath well, "Who's the girl?"

 

                    Rath patted you on the head, "Amara, though I prefer to call her Jinx." Oh, what a charming nickname! Amara thought sourly, "What's caught you so worked up?" Rath asked.

 

                      "Some Yokai I ran into, nothing to worry about, except he stole my ribbon, well, more like his dog." She rolled her purple eyes,aggravated that someone actually got the best of her, "I'm gonna pound him into the ground next time I see that creep!"

 

                       "I see she has your temper," Rune commmented calmly, "So, who exactly is she, how do know her?" 

 

                         "Cesia found her, and Lykouleon suckered me in to training her, I don't care how she is at her age, she's too stubborn." Rath snorted, Amara stuck out her tongue, "Plus, it's a miracle she was found when she was, considering the Barrier," Rath added.

 

                         "She's a demon?" 

 

                            "Yeah, and a strong one I'll admit." Amara stared into the distance, daydreaming, like always, "And she hates being defeated, without a chance to fight back of course, if she had her chance, she's not too worried about it, but seeing what's happened," he glanced at the cut tree, "Looks like her opponent was no joke."

 

                                          "The punk-a*s b*****d..." Amara rasped, she felt the glares from Rath and Rune, and shifted uncomfortably, unable to face them, pride was her weakness, pride and distrust, and she liked it that way. She liked the fact that no one approved of her attitude, that no one expected her to change, it meant that at least, to her, she wouldn't have to stay there long, and that she would do as she pleased, NO one bound her by rules. "I'm gonna take a walk,"

                                           "Watch out for dogs, and don't-" Cut off because of boulder from Amara, "Well, that's new, she's hopeless..."

 

                                            "You're one to talk, Rath, you weren't any better..."
