The Fallen

The Fallen

A Poem by Faith

She fled the golden gates
The stars shining in her heart
Fractured, shattered, broken
She's a soul torn apart

Fallen, forsaken by grace
Only black feathers and blood remain
Dark skies cry when angels die
Gaia writhes in shame

Split, the ground shudders
A testament to the crime
And seeks to release the horrible beasts
Shackled by the sands of time

Arise! Arise! Creatures of shadow,
Requiem aeternam, dona eis domine!
Merciless and quick, vanquish the weak
And wrap her in your dark wings

About
I am the one that no one sees… Sitting at the corner table of the café. I find safety in shadows, in hiding from the world. Here… In the dark… No one can hurt me. Sometimes.. more..
