In Silence

In Silence

A Poem by Faith

In silence we awaken

From the darkness we are born

And to the light we strive,

But soon our hearts are torn

Broken into pieces

But the pieces can’t be found

For instead of put together

They are trampled in the ground

The light turn to shadow

The shadow turns to dark

Lost, dying, and alone

Is this broken heart

She tries to find forgiveness

She tries to seek the light

She lifts her face to heaven

And her throat is sliced

God is a fiend

The devil, an advocate no more

Options are dwindling

She’s closed her last door

The dark turns to night

The night turns to black

She has fled beyond the veil

And is never coming back

About
I am the one that no one sees… Sitting at the corner table of the café. I find safety in shadows, in hiding from the world. Here… In the dark… No one can hurt me. Sometimes.. more..
