Welcome

Welcome

A Poem by Charlotte e.e. Griffiths

Let me welcome myself
        into you
Let my moments no longer present fear
                                                  or shame
           Only the decadent, flowing love,
    I've always felt for you.

Let my anger subside into
                                     forgiveness
And my smile ease your day
                    without any inch
                         of sad.
Let me be free,
                 and honest,
                                and true,
And raise your pedestal ever high
so you can never know anything
         aside from the magnificence
                                   that is you.

Let me love you,
in every way, in every day,
                  without any moment of fear,
 And
     Let me be vulnerable,
                 always vulnerable,
so that our love may never
                           decay.
