Banished.

Banished.

A Poem by Charlotte e.e. Griffiths

Missing the medication of
              a midnight massacre,
The cravings of dreams farewelled my sleep,
Agelessly frantic on the promise of
                                     full moon,
                                         of escape,
                                                 of purity,
I scrub the skin of my hands

(And) Beneath the flesh
                 lies the blatantly
                                          banished.

I really enjoy the first line, the power of the M's is prominent. . It's a good read and the way you structured it really relates to the fragmented thoughts of sleepless nights.
