Catastrophe

Catastrophe

A Poem by libby lou

In my hiding place I face the past that haunts me

and bury myself in forgotten dreams
I kiss the dust of simple truth

sending sparks of little white lies
I drink muddy waters of other peoples agony

and cleanse my soul with misery
I bath in gallons of regretful tears

and skip rocks of catastrophe
In my hiding place I drench myself with desire

and all at once catch handfuls of life.
