A Rose Colored Day

A Rose Colored Day

A Poem by lildot
"

Soulful reflection for inner peace and direction

"
Dawn is upon me…
I see the morning light…
A peaceful morning.
Not a soul around but a hyperactive tree frog who obviously must be unique…

I feel Mother Earth encouraging me to meditate.
I look deep inside my inner existence…
Yes, I am searching for the answer as to why you left me … Why ????

Why….has your kind spirit left my world?
The world we enjoyed together is now divided...
Not ever to be the same.

Your world, "Survival and self absorption"
Struggling to remember...
Struggling with anger...
Struggling to comprehend....

My world....
Ensuring my Soulmate lives on in dignity.
Remembering yesteryears....
Surviving in the present...
Alone.
Lonely.
Lost.

I question my Existential Universe.
Why did you and I have to suffer this fate?
Of being lost in our present world and finding ourselves forever transcended…

Contemplation encapsulates me and my Mother Earth.
With all her maternal wisdom...
She embraces me with her eagle-like arms.
Holding me tightly she whispers...

“My Child, now is not your time to question.
Your time now is to feel each and every breathing moment of each day
with gratitude and graciousness.
Remember with breath you take your Soulmate is receiving a gift.
Your strength and love protects both of your legacies.
These are true, real moments. Moments that will eternally live on....
Even after it is His Time.... and Your Time."

"Close your eyes....
Focus on every breath you take …
Breath to the depth of your core…
Remember...
Inhale smoothly...
Relish in those much deserved euphoric exhales."

"Be Mindful...
...your human mindset is within your own control...
Be it real or surreal.” ‘Lildot 3/1/2025"

Bereavement crushes some, but not the speaker here. The awareness of loss is acute, but the determination to overcome it is stronger. The last paragraph is a lesson in spiritual philosophy.
