"Oh No! What did I just do? My baby Serina? I..I just killed my daughter!" Helen knelt down beside her daughter's cold, lifeless body and cried."

"You...did the right thing." She suddenly heard a voice from behind her.

Helen turned around...but she saw no one. Fear ran through her body, clouding all other emotions and she ran out of the old burnt down house. She didn't want to think about what she had done. she didn't want to know why everything turned out this way.

When Helen got home, she sat down on her bed. She wanted to go to sleep and forget everything.

"I'll go to sleep...then everything will end up being a dream." So she was soon asleep.

"Wake up mommy. Wake up..." Helen's eyes shot open. She looked around her dark room. There was no one but her. It was the same voice she heard at the burnt down house.

"Hi mom". Helen quickly turned to the door. Standing there was ...a girl. She looked almost identical to Serina. But she had a more cold look to her.

"Who,who are you?" Helen asked in a low voice.

"Well,let's just say...I'm here because you did me a really big favor. My name is Mai. Thanks to you, I was able to return to this world. Too bad for you though. I need some blood."

Helen was thrown against a wall. Mai took out a small pocket knife and slashed Helen's cheek. Then she stabbed her in the leg. Helen's screams were blocked by someone's hands. She looked over and saw a small creature with peircing black eyes.They seemed to look deep into her and wither her soul.

"Hope there's no hard feelings mom...bye,bye!" The small creature grew claws and stabbed Helen in the heart. Her small cries ended and so did her life.

"Good boy Riku. You can have as much as you want. I'm done." Mai licked the blood off her knife and sat down on Helen's bed and watched as Riku devoured Helen's heart.

Well, here's the story behind all of this. Mai and Serina are sisters,as you probly would have figured out by now and if you haven't then you're dumb. When they were born, one of them had to be left behind in the Underworld wile the other would be reborn as a human child on earth. When the child that was born on earth dies,the child that was left in the underworld will be sent to earth. The child that is second on earth also inherits the other's powers.

"That woman was a very good help. She was an extreme eyesore though. How did my sister look at her all day?" Mai was talking,but of course,no one was listening.

"My lady, do you remember what you are supposed to do while you're here?" asked Riku.

"Oh yeah...you know,you're a real put down," Mai replied.

"Let's go already."

While Mai is on Earth she has to find souls of demons that live inside human hearts and devour them. Doing this is a matter of sustainment for her. She lives off of human blood, but demon souls help her maintain her human form on earth.She can already identify the souls.That's one less thing to worry about.

As she was walking out of the house, Mai saw a man who looked about 14. She looked him over and saw that he had a demon's soul. She didn't even have to look far. This was an excellent outcome. It was about 11:49, so it was dark out. She walked towards him. He didn't seem to notice her.

Suddenly, he turned around and threw a knife at her. She dodged it, but it grazed her arm alittle.

"Looks like you already know about what's inside you." Mai said.

"I need these powers. I can do good with these powers! I know I can!" he replied.

"Are you denying that you have evil inside you? How funny! You're little plan will never work. Evil can never help good! Evil can never become good so-"

"I didn't ask you for a damn lecture!" I'll fight back. I'll change the way things are now!" This boy was way to stubborn for his own good.

"You're really starting to irritate me." Mai called for Riku and he turned into a dagger. But before Mai could strie, the boy's hands had knives coming out of them and he threw them at her, One stabbed her leg and another but her neck slightly.One hit her dagger and Riku returned to normal. She yanked the knife from her leg.She needed something to stop all the blood from rushing out.She ripped a piece of cloth from the bottem of her shirt and tied it around her leg.It stopped the bleeding alittle.Riku was okay so she didn't need to treat him.

"Okay now you're really going to die!" She grasped the knife and whipped it at his head. It hit , but he wasn't down yet. He was bleeding badly, but he still looked so determinded.

Suddenly,something grabbed her from behind. Everything went dark.

"What should we do with her now?"

"Well we have to kill her. That's all master Sallen told us." Mai opened her eyes a bit and saw 2 men standing near a doorway.

"Kill her while she's asleep and we won't have to use unecessary effort." Said one man.They started walking into the room and Mai slowly pulled out a kunai,making sure that she wasn't noticed. As they were getting closer, she was thinking of a killing method.

Suddenly, she heard the engine of something. It sounded like...a chainsaw?

"Oh holy crap!" Mai thought.

She jumped off the table she was laying on and threw the kunai in the direction the the sound. She looked around. There was...nobody there?

"What,what the hell? I really did hear those noises and those voices! This isn't cool! But,hey...where's Riku? And where's that dude I was trying to kill? Where are the dudes that were trying to saw me in half?!" She was just standing there,asking these question to herself and looking like an idiot while trying to figure out what was going on.

The sound of a gun went off and Mai turned around quickly. The bullet was a millameter away from her chest, but she caught it right before it hit her.

"Wow that was a really close one!"

Mai looked over to where the bullet had come from. She saw that it was the dude with the demon soul.His name was Sallen. He looked a bit frightened, but he was trying to hide it.

"You're a funny boy, aren't you? You actually thought that a gun would be able to kill me? Oh please! Don't underestimate me you lowlife human!" Mai laughed and then saw that Sallen had Riku in Chains and trapped in a cage. Riku could easily get out of something like that but the cage had a barrier that he couldn't penatrate.She could, but Sallen would probly would kill her if she got near the cage.she can't underestimate him either.

"Are you serious? Okay, you can keep me captive, but if you do anything to Riku your death will be more painful than it was before!" Mai was extremely angry. Riku was her cherished demon pet given to her by her father.

"Then, in exchange for Riku's like..you will have to give up your's!" Sallen had it all planned out from the begining! This wasn't looking good for Mai.

"What? My life for Riku's? F...fine. You have my word." Just then, the two guys who had dissapeared before, reapered and grabbed Mai's arms. She was trapped. she looked over at Riku and saw that his claws were bleeding. He had been banging on the cage and trying to break the barrier. Mai turned away. She didn't want to see Riku that way.

The two guys took her into a room that was made of stone. Mai wasn't afraid of death. She's been trapped in the underworld for 14 years. It doesn't matter if she goes back now. The only problem is that if she's killed in the human world, then she can never return.

"We'll do this quick and painless little missy." One of the men said.

"Really...? Well I'l not going to do it quick and painless on you though."

(Both guys) "Huh?" The golden arm braces on Mai's arms had spikes and that's where the men were holding her. The spikes were retractable and only activated when she makes a certain muscle in her arm move. The spikes slashed both men's hands. They screamed in pain. They released her and she kicked one man to a wall and punched the other man to the ground. She saw a blade in that man's pocket and she quickly took it from him. She threw it at the man that was on the floor. It hit him in the head and blood poured out of the deep wound. She yanked out the blade and pinned the other man to the wall by stabbing the blade into his shoulder.

"Don't you ever dare touch me again! You're not even worthy enough to look at me. I can fix that." Mai took the bleach out. Painfully and slowly.

She then, placed the blade at the corner of his right eye. she held his mouth closed and she slowlt started to gauge his eye out. Blood poured down his face. His tears were blood. He screamed but there screams were blocked. she began to do the other side. This time it was fast. then she used the blade to stab him in the heart.

"That was fun." she walked back to the other room. She saw Sallen and Riku.Sallen was...sleeping? Mai walked quietly and quickly to Riku's cage and she used the dagger that was in Sallen's hand. She quietly chizzled away at the bars. The barrier didn't effect her. She had broken the bar and Riku jumped by her side. He looked exhausted.

"Go in the other room. You can feed there. I want you to regain your strenghth." Riku went ti the other room. Mai was trying to conduct a plan. A plan to kill Sallen. Then, she saw that there was a vent at the bottem of the wall. Mai smiled. She gently lifted Sallen and layed him near the vent. She called Riku and told him to unscrew the nails that were holding the vent cover to the wall. She then procieded to slide him into the vent. He went in head first. Then she screwed the cover back on.she saw that there was a thermostat above the vent. She cranked it up all the way to 180'F.

"I think He'll have a nice time chilling in there." she laughed and she and Riku waited for him to wake up.

5 minutes later, he was awake and screaming for mercy. But of course, Mai doesn't have any sympathy for someone who makes Riku bleed. Riku was enjoying this also.

"Please! Let me out! Just kill me already! AHHH!" Sallen's screams were like music to Mai's ears. While he was cooking in the vent, Mai was slowly draining the demon's soul from him. She had completely captured and devoured the soul when Sallen's body burst into flames. He died in teh vent with nothing but ashes left behind. Mai was satisfied. She left that place with Riku and returned to her sister's home.

"Oh, Riku I forgot, I saved these for you." Mai reached into her pocket and pulled out two eyes that she had taken from that man earlier. Riku looked pleased. He took them and ate them.

The next morning, a police officer named Shuna knocked on the door. She was just a regular woman so, Mai didn't really care about her.

"Hello there. Is your mother home?"

"Sorry, she;s not here at the moment.Can I help you officer?" Mai was acting just like a regular girl.

"Has your mommy been gone for awhile? She hasn't been at work. I'd like to check around the house." Officer Shuna went into Helen's room. Helen's body was still there. Shuna didnt look suprised or scared.

"Mai. Why'd you kill my mother?"

Mai turned her face to the woman standing in front of her.

"S...Serina? Are...you..in her? My sister?" Mai's voice was shaking. There was a silence.

"You could at least give me a hug...we haven't seen eachother for so long." she moved closer to Mai and held out her hands. Mai slapped her hands away. she looked surprised that she could toch the body. She was scared. For the first time ever in her life, Mai was scared.

"Why? Why are you here? what do you want?"

"Oh, nothing much. Just wanted to see how my sister was doing. Maybe go to teh mall, hang out at the part, look for sould with me-"

"Say what now? On no, I am not bringing you back. If I do, I know that you;re going to kill me. I'm not going to bring you back to the human world!" Mai was furious.

"I wouldn't kill you! You're my sister...my one and only sister." Serina was getting alittle anoyyed with her one and only sister. Suddenly, Shuna's body dropped to the floor. It layed there, cold and lifeless. Mai was confused.

"Oh, geez! This useless body! My time here has run out. Goodbye sister." Serina's voice driffted away.

"Riku, my sister really scared me sometimes? Mai walked away from Shunna's body and left the house. As she was walking, she started to move into the street. There were no cars. Mai felt that something was calling her. She was being captivated by the voice. She found herself in front of a church doorway. She heard singing inside. It was like a small child's humming. Mai walked in and saw a girl about 6 years old. She was in a white dress. There was red...on the dress. Blood? Mai walked to the girl and stood about a foot behind her. The little girl started to sing softly.

"Demons enter our world, cursed to seek the darker end, when the sisters perish, the worold around renewed again." This little girl did not turn around. Mai was frightend by the words that the girl girl had sung. The song... the song of the demon sisters. This little girl know a song from hell? She wasn't real. Mai told herself this. She was frozen on the floor.

"Help...help me..." The girl's voice was small but my understood. She walked towards the girl. She was hesitent, but she put right hand on the girl's shoulder. It was warm. The girl took her hand and put it on Mai's hand.

Suddenly, the girl's nails turned to razor sharp claws and they dug into Mai's hand. Blood ran from the wound in her hand. The took her claws out and they returned to human nails. Mai's expression wasn't changed. There was a hint of pain in her face but she tried to hide it. She grabbed the girl by her shoulders and made her face in her direction. The girls face...her eyes were bloody and her left eye had been hanging out. There were scars on her face that seemed to be from long ago. Her lips were chapped and they were white. The girl's arm were terrible. On her right arm was a slash that looked it was made by a piece of glass. That slash began bleed. The girl had no emotion on her face. On her left arm there were nails that dug in so deep that it looked as if they were drilled in. Mai was shocked. Then she looked at the girl's right hand. There were claw marks that dug into her hand. It was just like Mai's hand. Then,she realized it.

Then, the girl got up and threw Mai against the wall. She saw a glass bottle on the chair next to Mai. She broke the glass bottle right next to Mai's head. She slashed Mai's right arm. The blood rushed out. Mai screamed. No one was here to save her. Riku was at home. Then the girl took nails out of the floor. She stabbed then into Mai's arms. They were in her arm so deep that the blood couldn't come out. Then the girl cut Mai's cheek with her anils and made many marks. The girl began to suffocate Mai by chocking her. One hand was chocking her. The other was slowly disconnecting her left eye. Tears of blood came down Mai's face. The little girl also began to cry.

Then...it was...over. Mai's tears stopped. Her pulse stopped. Her life ended. The little girl was Mai's death child. It's a demon from hell that goes to eath to kill demons when their life is up. The way that you see the child had died then that is how you are going to die. Demon's on earth, cursed to seek their dark end. Never to roam out earth again.
