First day of school

 

LUCINDA: Oh-my-God! I can’t wait! First day of freshman year, here I come!

PEYTON: Calm down ‘Cinda. You know, high school isn’t all that great. You have the cliques, the drama, the bitching and the gossip.

LUCINDA: Oh please, you have been watching way too much TV. High school is about meeting new friends, turning over a new leaf and of course, boys!

[Peyton rolls her eyes while watching Lucinda jump up and down.]

PEYTON: Come on, let’s just go.

[Peyton and Lucinda goes into the school]

LUCINDA: Wow! It’s so big!

[Peyton starts walking to the office to get her schedule when she bumps into a certain someone. Peyton looks up]

PEYTON: Oh! I am so sorry! I didn’t mean to-

LUKE: Oh no, it’s alright. I’m fine. Are you okay?

PEYTON: Umm... yeah of course. Yeah, I’m fine.

LUKE: That’s good then.

[Luke smiles, dazzling Peyton]

LUKE: I guess I’ll see you around then?

PEYTON: Yeah sure, of course.

[Luke walks off. Lucinda grabs Peyton as soon as Luke is out of earshot]

LUCINDA: Oh-my-God. He was so hot!

PEYTON: Lucinda, he’s just a guy.

LUCINDA: Just a guy? You were so falling for him.

[Peyton rolls her eyes, but a faint smile was playing at the corner of her lips]
