A Poem by Faith Almazan

What kind of woman am I?
The kind that seeks the gentle touch of another.
The kind that wants one above all others.
I need the lips of a gentle kiss.
I want the arms of a gentle mister.

I want him to be proud to have me on his arm.
I want him to say he loves me all night long.
I want him to look at me with his eyes,
and tell me he's so happy to be by my side.

I need the love of a million suns.
I want to cry in his safe arms.
A love that will never end.
A love of whispers; my eternal friend.

What kind of woman am I?
I bleed out romance,
I bleed out passion.
I breathe; I dance
up in the stars
up in the sky.
My love waits for me
when I close my eyes.
